Recognized by its iconic water tower, the city of Campbell is a demure alternative to its more fast-paced neighbors. Although Campbell may lack the tech fame of nearby cities like Palo Alto or San Jose, it is known by many as the home of eBay and the South Bay headquarters of the FBI. Since the late 1800s, this city has evolved from an important rail center into a well-to-do Silicon Valley suburb, complete with a downtown area teeming with shops and restaurants. It also showcases the Pruneyard Shopping Center, a centrally located open-air retail venue boasting a dine-in movie theater.
