Funny enough, “East" Palo Alto actually sites directly north of Palo Alto. Over the last 10 - 15 years, over 25% of the East Palo Alto has been rebuilt, boosting brand new buildings and housing developments, making it now home to several huge retailers like IKEA and Target. The beautiful University Square community, complete with an impressive Four Seasons hotel, is drawing a boom of young, high-tech, and high-income professionals and couples to the area. You’ll find many employees from Google, Facebook, and Yahoo, living within East Palo Alto.
